Volunteers are the heartbeat of the Crafts Center. It’s a fun way to spend time in an inspiring environment while helping to promote the mission of the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi. Answering and directing calls
Taking messages, sending messages to voice mail
Keeping log of visitors, making copies of log template
Keeping track of brochures, reordering them, organizing the brochure stand
Providing information about the Guild, greeting and directing guests
Keeping track of current Guild events, providing information
Making reminder phone calls to other volunteers who are assigned projects for the following day
Returning phone calls with simple inquiries
Keeping the information desk tidy
Making sure that the coffee area is organized and clean
Performing other assigned duties

Host/Hostess duties preparing food and beverages, serving the guests
