This is a book of block prints from Walter Anderson's workshop.  He carved and printed the letters from linoleum blocks, incorporating exotic objects and eccentric shapes.  Children will enjoy finding the hidden animals and other things from nature within his intricate swirls and patterns.  Walter Anderson lived most of his life on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, until his death in 1965. Today his work is known and appreciated all over the United States. This edition is suitable for coloring or painting.
