Adult Craft Camp – Schedule of Classes


1 class -$100, 2 classes – $175, 3 classes- $250, 4 classes-$325, 5 classes – $400 – lunch included if you take 2 classes or more.

Adult Camp ——–Description of Classes offered

Recycle Art – create your own work of art from things you have laying around the house. Class taught by Anne Campbell.

Jewelry Making – Make a byzantine bracelet with Martha Scarborough

Jewelry Fusing Class – This a two day class. First day you cut, stack and glue and day two is completion of your jewelry pieces.  Taught by Leslie Turner.

Introduction to Weaving – taught by Marcy Petrini.  Class is limited to 4 people.  This class will be taught from 9 to 4.

Knitting with Donna Peyton – Morning class will make a hat and the afternoon class will make a scarf.  You do not have to take both classes.

Fused Glass with Jenny Thomas – class taught over 2 days.  You will come back and finish up your piece on Sunday afternoon after firing.  Class considered one class.

Concrete – Craftsmen Andy Hilton will teach you how to make the most interesting work out of concrete.

 

 

Introduction to Pottery – taught by Robert Pickenpaugh.  You will learn handbuilding and working on the wheel. Pieces you make will be fired and a follow up class on glazing will be available if you are interested.  Class is on Sunday afternoon and you will finish up Monday morning. Considered two classes.

Woodcarving – taught by George Berry.  Learn the techniques of carving from the Master!!  Additional Classes will be formed from this one.  Not only men like this but there are many women who enjoy carving.

Introduction to Spinning – class offered all day and taught by Marcy Petrini.  Limited to 4 people.

Taste of Blacksmithing – spend the day in the Blacksmith Shop.  Learn techniques from several of our craftsmen.

Caning a Step Stool- taught by Sharon Williams. You will make a wonderful step stool to be used by yourself or a child. Class may take over the 3 hour class time.

Surface Design – Create your own fabric with Rhonda Blasingame.  Will work outside and inside on the fabric.

Making a Prayer Tree with Wire Sculpture- The tree can be a symbol of prayer or different bible verses.  Jason Walker will teach this class and you get to create your own ideas for what will hang from the branches.

Basket Making – Marva Goodman will teach you the basics of basket making. You will weave with reed and that is easier for people to work with.

 

Leather Making with Janice Clark – You will make 2 pieces – a pillow and a pair of moccasins!!! You will work with soft leather and natural material.
