The Waller Craft Center, located in Ridgeland, Mississippi near the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway, is the headquarters for The Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi.

The architecture is spacious and inspiring, framing the natural setting and serving as the heart of the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi. The retail Gallery, special event rental venue, classrooms and studios, administrative offices, visitor information desk, and more are all part of this unique place.

“I’ve always wanted to be a Member of the Guild,” says mixed media fiber artist Diane Williams. A Member since 2011, her work is spiritual, and she considers herself merely the vessel by which the elements and fibers creatively express themselves.

Betsy Ross, Executive Director
Betsy's role is multifaceted, blending leadership, financial management, and community engagement.

Sheri Cox, Director of Operations
Sheri is responsible for organizing all the events held at the Waller Craft Center and as education coordinator, she plans all school field trips and coordinates all classes.

Keith Stewart, Fellow - Featured Artist
Keith has worked as a full-time potter since 1991. His family has been making pottery for 4 generations. While Keith uses some techniques common to the southern folk style of his family, he has incorporated the techniques used by contemporary studio potters. Keith has studied Oriental pottery and medieval European pottery.

Chief Hatfield, New Member - Featured Artist
Chief began his woodturning journey in 2017 after retiring from his previous hobby of offshore fishing. He attended several woodworking classes in Tennesse where he met his biggest influence, Rob Cosman. Chief's process begins with rough sawn lumber and dimensions with jointer, planer and table saw. Chief is also a member of the Magnolia Wood Turners Club of Jackson. Join me in welcoming Chief to the Craftsmen's Guild.
